Liebrecht Vanbeckevoort

Liebrecht Vanbeckevoort is an internationally acclaimed concert pianist and laureate of the 2007 Queen Elisabeth Competition. He performs worldwide, from Europe to Asia and North America, both as a soloist and in chamber music. His repertoire spans Beethoven (the complete works for piano and orchestra), Chopin, Brahms, Liszt, Grieg, Ravel, Gershwin, Rachmaninov, Tchaikovsky, Prokofiev, Shostakovich, De Boeck, Devreese, and he has appeared with orchestras such as the Antwerp Symphony Orchestra, Brussels Philharmonic, and the Belgian National Orchestra. He regularly performs alongside artists including Ning Kam, Stella Chen, Tobias Feldmann, Timothy Chooi, Severin von Eckardstein, Thomas Blondelle, and Yibai Chen.

In addition to his performing career, he is a Professor of Piano at LUCA School of Arts (Leuven BE) and is internationally invited to give masterclasses and serve on juries for piano competitions.
